Peter Verhoyen

Peter Verhoyen ( born August 1, 1968 in Belgium) is a Belgian flutist and piccolo flute.

Life

Peter is Verhoyen Soloist Piccolo at deFilharmonie. He is employed at the Royal Flemish Conservatory in Antwerp and at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels as a lecturer for piccolo flute and Didactics. Together with cellist Stefaan Craeynest he founded the chamber music ensemble Arco Baleno. With this ensemble he has completed nine CD recordings and various radio recordings. He is also regularly active in the Collegium Instrumental Brugense under the direction of Patrick Peire and in the orchestra Il Novecento, conducted by Robert Groslot.
