Peter Zaremba (athlete)

Peter Zaremba ( Timothy Peter " Pete " Zaremba; born April 7, 1909 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, † September 17, 1994 in Kingwood, Texas) was an American hammer thrower.

At the Olympic Games 1932 in Los Angeles, he won the bronze medal with 50.33 meters behind the Irishman Pat O'Callaghan ( 53.92 m) and the Finn Ville Pörhölä ( 52.27 m).

1932 and 1934 he was U.S. vice- champion. His personal best of 51.98 meters he set up in Berkeley on July 2, 1932.
