Petr Ruman

Petr Ruman ( born November 2, 1976 in Olomouc) is a former Czech football player.

Career

Ruman played in the Youth for PS and FC Banik Ostrava Přerov. In Ostrava he made in the 1993/94 season the leap into the professional squad. In 1997, the storm was loaned to VP Frýdek- Místek, then he returned to Banik Ostrava.

From 1999 to 2005 Ruman played for SpVgg Greuther Fürth. In the 2003 /04 season, he contributed 16 goals to the fact that the SpVgg not descended to the Regionalliga. For the Franks Ruman scored 38 goals in 168 games.

After 2004, a change to the 1 FC Kaiserslautern had failed, undertook the first Bundesliga club FSV Mainz 05 in the summer of 2005, the Czechs, who had met in eight games against the second division Mainz four times for their nemesis from Fürth.

In the first competitive match of Mainz in the 2005/06 season, the 4-0 victory against MIKA Ashtarak in the first- leg of the UEFA Cup qualification, Ruman scored the 1-0.
