Petr Ruman
Petr Ruman ( born November 2, 1976 in Olomouc) is a former Czech football player.
Career
Ruman played in the Youth for PS and FC Banik Ostrava Přerov. In Ostrava he made in the 1993/94 season the leap into the professional squad. In 1997, the storm was loaned to VP Frýdek- Místek, then he returned to Banik Ostrava.
From 1999 to 2005 Ruman played for SpVgg Greuther Fürth. In the 2003 /04 season, he contributed 16 goals to the fact that the SpVgg not descended to the Regionalliga. For the Franks Ruman scored 38 goals in 168 games.
After 2004, a change to the 1 FC Kaiserslautern had failed, undertook the first Bundesliga club FSV Mainz 05 in the summer of 2005, the Czechs, who had met in eight games against the second division Mainz four times for their nemesis from Fürth.
In the first competitive match of Mainz in the 2005/06 season, the 4-0 victory against MIKA Ashtarak in the first- leg of the UEFA Cup qualification, Ruman scored the 1-0. In his first Bundesliga season Ruman was among the top scorers of Mainz. Since the winter of 05/ 06 he fell because of several injuries from coming back, but struggled early 2007 back to the starting eleven.
At the end of the season Mainz rose to the 2nd Bundesliga from, already on Matchday 9 of the 2007/08 season was his last second division used for Mainz: In the game against FC Erzgebirge Aue he suffered in a collision with the keeper made a herniated disc, so that he could re- enter all the team training until the end of the season. At the beginning of the season 2008/ 09 he made an IGS blockade to create; the coach who took over the team for the new season, expressed in the local newspaper that he believed in Rumans disability sports what Petr Ruman denied in the same newspaper the following day. Since it was used only in test matches and in the Regional (3 inserts), he left for winter break the first FSV Mainz 05 and signed at third division VfR Aalen. The contract started on 1 January 2009 and is valid until 30 June 2009. With the descent of the VfR at the end of the season in the Regionalliga Süd also his contract was invalid. He then ended his football career due to persistent pain and dedicated to keeping the structure of his own football academy for young people in Wörrstadt. From January to June 2010 was Ruman assistant coach for the U17 of the first FSV Mainz 05, in July 2010 he has been head coach of the U16 from Mainz 05
