Petr VlÄek
Petr Vlcek ( born October 18, 1973 in Marianske Lazne ) is a former Czech football player.
Career
Petr Vlcek made the jump to professional football in 1993/94 at Viktoria Plzen. In early 1997, joining the defender to Slavia Prague. This year he came to his first of a total of 18 international matches. Of 2000, Vlcek for EM- squad of the Czech national team.
After the European Championships Vlcek moved to Standard Liege, where he made but only eleven games. In 2001 he went to Panionios Athens, where he remained four years. He subsequently played for six months for Ethnikos Achnas, before he returned to his former club Viktoria Plzen in early 2006.
In summer 2006, however, coach Michal Bilek it sorted out of the squad for the first team, Vlcek joined the Greek second division club Niki Volos. In early 2007 he moved to FC 1 Kötzting because he wanted to be close to his pregnant wife, who was not willing to move to Greece. In summer 2008, Vlcek joined the second team SpVgg Weiden, which he, however, left again for professional reasons after only one year.
