Petra Steger

Petra Steger ( born October 4, 1987 in Vienna) is an Austrian politician (FPÖ ). Steger since October 2013 Member of the Austrian Parliament.

Life

Petra Steger is the daughter of former Austrian Vice Chancellor, Economic Minister and federal FPÖ party chairman Norbert Steger.

After attending elementary school and the high school she laid in 2005 from the final exam with distinction. First, she began to study law at the University of Vienna, however, the study broke off in 2007 and moved to the Vienna University of Economics, where she started studying business law and the International Business Administration.

In 2008 and 2009 she attended summer courses at Harvard University in Cambridge (Massachusetts, United States).

Petra Steger is a member of the FPÖ since 2008. In October 2010, she was sworn in as a district councilor in the municipal district of Vienna Meidling; Since 2013 she is sitting in the county party leadership.

Since November 2012, she moderated FPÖ TV, a private party information medium, makes the videos on YouTube, among other things accessible to voters.

In October, 2013, after election Help in the National campaign, Steger moved as a liberal deputies in the National Assembly.

Others

In addition to her career as a politician Steger is also active in sports. So it's basketball player at the Vienna Women's Club Flying Foxes. With her club she was seven times in a row Austrian champion, and four times winner of the Cup.
