Petri Liimatainen
Petri Liimatainen ( born July 20, 1969 in Hässelby ) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey player and current coach.

Playing career
Petri Liimatainen began his career as a hockey player in his youth for AIK Ishockey, for the first team, he was active from 1986 to 1993 in the Elitserien, and the Division 1. He then moved to Malmö Redhawks, with whom he was Swedish Champion in the 1993/94 season. After two years in Malmö the defender was in 1995 in the German Ice Hockey League in which he for the Krefeld Penguins standing on the ice, the following four seasons long. After a year in the Swiss National League A, which links Sagittarius returned in 2000 in the DEL back in which he ran aground one season long for the Berlin Capitals and the Cologne Sharks, where he won the German championship with the Rhine countries.
After winning the title Liimatainen returned to his former club Malmo Redhawks, for which he spent as well as afterwards for their league rivals Södertälje SK two seasons in the Elitserien. In the 2006/07 season the Swede played for HC Lugano and EHC Basel in the Swiss National League A. After the Olympians began at Linköpings HC of 1992, the 2008/09 season, for instance, in the match of the Champions Hockey he League stood on the ice, he moved to the EHC Linz in the Austrian Hockey League. The 2009/10 season Liimatainen played for the Danish first division club Hvidovre, before he ended his active career.
Internationally
For Sweden Liimatainen took part in the U20 World Junior Championships in 1988 and 1989, and the World Championship in 1992 in part. In addition, he was in the squad of Sweden at the 1992 Winter Olympic Games in Albertville.
Coaching career
Liimatainen worked at the beginning of the 2010/11 season at Hvidovre, for which he was also active as a player last. However, during the season, he moved to his former club, the Cologne Sharks, where he was assistant coach Niklas Sundblad until the end of the season.
