Petro-Canada

Petro-Canada is a mineral and gas companies in Canada, based in Calgary, Alberta. Petro-Canada employs approximately 5,000 people (as of 2005). Petro-Canada was founded in 1975 by an Act of the Canadian Parliament as a state-owned enterprise.

In March 2009, the Canadian company Suncor Energy acquires 11 billion euros for Petro-Canada.
