Petter Rudi

Petter Rudi Norman ( born September 17, 1973 in Kristiansand ) is a former Norwegian football player.

Career

Rudi played during his career at various European clubs. At the beginning he spent five years at the Norwegian club Molde FK, before he first joined on loan abroad for KAA Gent in Belgium and AC Perugia in Italy. After expiry of the loan period both clubs came to undertake the player. However, due to the required transfer fee, there was no transfer. Rudi then played another half season at Molde, before offers from the Premier League came. The transfer poker eventually coalesced between FC Southampton and Sheffield Wednesday. Sheffield got £ 800,000 for the contract, ran aground three years for the Rudi.

After Sheffield in the 1999/2000 season relegated from the Premier League, it pulled the midfielder initially returned to Norway to Molde and then to Belgium and Sporting Lokeren Germinal Beerschot Antwerp, or to Austria for Austria Wien. The station Vienna was extremely unpleasant for Rudi. He never found his form and only came up with four championship games and an insert in the Champions League qualification. National

Rudi went through all the youth teams and participated with the U20 team at the Junior World Cup in Australia.

His debut in the senior team, he celebrated on November 26, 1995 to Jamaica. Although he completed several qualifiers for Großtuniere, never found, however, in one of the final tournament squad again.

In total, he completed 46 caps for the Norwegian national football team, where he scored 3 goals.
