Peukolaos

Peukolaos was an Indo - Greek king who ruled in the first century BC. It is usually set to 90 BC and reigned apparently in the region of Gandhara and Arachosia. Peukolaos is known only from a few coins so that it can be assumed that he reigned only a short time.

His name may mean the man from Pushkalavati. Pushkalavati was an important town east of Kabul.
