Peypin-d'Aigues

Peypin- d'Aigues is a commune with 607 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Vaucluse department in the Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur.

Geography

Peypin- d'Aigues located in the southeast of the département of Vaucluse about twelve kilometers northeast of the town of Pertuis. Neighboring communities are Saint -Martin -de- Castillon in the northwest, La Motte- d'Aigues in the West, Saint -Martin -de- la- Brasque the southwest, Gram Bois in the south and Vitrolles -en- Luberon in the east. A short piece of the northern border is formed by the community Céreste in the Alpes -de -Haute -Provence.

The height of the municipality ranges from 349 meters in the lowlands up to 1040 meters in the mountains of the Grand Luberon up. The Mairie is located at an altitude of 400 meters. The municipality is part of the Luberon Regional Park. The west past the village flowing stream Ruisseau des Hermitans has a length of 6.4 km and flows Grambois in the Eze.

Traffic

The east-west axis on passing through the town center route Departmental D42 connects the municipalities of La Motte- d'Aigues and La Bastide -des- Jourdan. From this the D122 branches off and leads south to Gram Bois.
