PFC Lokomotiv Sofia

Lokomotiv Sofia ( officially: PFK ( Profesionalen Fudbalski Klub ) Lokomotiw Sofija ( ПФК Локомотив София ) ) is a professional football club based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The club was founded in 1929 as " ZSK Sofija ", later changed the name to " Energia Sofija " under which she played until 1944. In the time as " ZSK Sofija " was 1940, the first championship of FK Lokomotiw Sofija, as the Bulgarian champion for the second time in Bulgarian football history in a league system, and not in the play-off system in the conventional way, played out.

The name of the association was changed to " SK Lokomotiw Sofija " and had until 1949 inventory. 1945 was able to be won the second championship, but which was again decided in playoff games. The team also won the newly launched Soviet Army Cup in 1948.
