Pfühlbach

The Pfühlbach is a right tributary of the Neckar in Heilbronn in northern Baden -Württemberg.

Course

The Pfühlbach arises as a topper creek bottom on the northeast slope of the mountain in the pig Heilbronner Forest Won Saubuckel. He flows his first three kilometers to the north through the forest passed and since 1985 designated as a nature reserve Köpfertal, past the local topper fountain and a 0.4 -acre retention basin, and then passes after less than two kilometers of the corridor limit, after the Heilbronner Cemetery located at its right slope. After about three kilometers it crosses under the K 9550 Heilbronn- subgroup Bach Donnbronn and reaches the Trappensee ( 0.4 ha), from which it is called Pfühlbach. Here flows from the right superficial waters loose valley from the southeast in his, and he bends to the west. Soon he crosses the Pfühlpark the big city, where he fed another lake of 0.5 hectares, only to disappear at the park end in a Dole and in the future to continue running underground, first under the Schiller Street, then under the Garden Street, Scholl -Straße, the Berlin court, the tower road and finally below the Heilbronner ice rink. After a total of 6.7 km of Pfühlbach opens opposite the island of Schwan Heilbronner right into the Neckar.

Catchment area

The Pfühlbach has a catchment area of 10.9 km ². History
