Pfulgriesheim

Pfulgriesheim is a commune with 1239 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Bas- Rhin in the Alsace region.

Location

The municipality is located in the digester mountain between Pfettisheim and Mittelhausbergen, about 10 km north- west of Strasbourg.

History

The name of the village appeared relatively late, ie until 1163 as Vulncriegesheim on. In the 16th century the village belonged to the noble family of Andlau, under the 1526 the Reformation was introduced. Since 1685 until today, the local church serves as a simultaneous church Protestants and Catholics as God's house.
