Phayakkhaphum Phisai District

Amphoe Phayakkhaphum Phisai ( in Thai อำเภอ พยัคฆภูมิพิสัย ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the south of the province of Maha Sarakham. The Maha Sarakham Province is located in the center of northeast Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Amphoe Phayakkhaphum Phisai borders the following districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Yang of the Sisurat and Na Dun Maha Sarakham province, to the Amphoe Pathum Council and Kaset Wisai the province of Roi Et, Amphoe Chumphon Buri province to Surin, as well as Amphoe Phutthaisong Buriram Province.

Management

Amphoe Phayakkhaphum Phisai in 14 communities ( tambon) divided, which in turn in 227 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

There is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • Phayakkhaphum Phisai ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล พยัคฆภูมิพิสัย ), consisting of parts of the tambon Palan and Lan Sakae.

There are also 14 " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.

Note: Missing numbers refer to the tambon which now belong to Yang Sisurat.
