Phife Dawg
Phife Dawg ( born November 20, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York; civil Malik Taylor ) is an American rapper, best known as a member of A Tribe Called Quest.
Biography
Born in Brooklyn, Malik Taylor grew up in the New York City borough of Queens. As a child, he was friends with Jonathan Davis.
Taylor wrote during his childhood poems and began to rap in the school. In high school, he got together with Ali Shaheed Muhammad Q-Tip know. The three friends formed in the late 1980s A Tribe Called Quest.
After the band had released until 1998 on Jive Records five albums, was their separation. Phife Dawg published in 2000 on Groove Attack his first solo album Ventilation: Da LP.
