Phil Gordon (politician)

Phil Gordon ( born April 18, 1951 in Chicago ) is an American politician (Democrat ) and the 58th Mayor of Phoenix.

Phil Gordon is the oldest of the three children from Sid and Judy Gordon. Mid-1960s, the family moved to Phoenix, where he attended Madison Meadows elementary and middle school, and later a high school. After the completion of the Bachelor Gordon studied law at Arizona State University.

He won the election on 9 September 2003 and was sworn in on January 2, 2004. His three priorities for the city are: public safety, education and jobs - three things that he " intertwined " as describes, because education leads to jobs and keep jobs from crime.
