Philadelphion

The Philadelphion was a complex of buildings of the same name (today SEHZADEBASI ) in the former Constantinople Opel. He was near the Grand Palace and originally involved a Capitol.

The entrance was adorned with statues of the Tetrarch, now located in St. Mark's Square in Venice. The Philadelphion was on the main road leading to the Great Church of the Golden Gate along with other honor with statues, sculptures and mythological groups decorated buildings and places like the Augusteion, the Constantine Forum ( Çemberlitaş ), the Theodosiosforum and the Arkadiosforum ( Aksaray ).
