Philemon McCarthy

Philemon McCarthy ( born August 14, 1983 in Goma Fetteh ) is a Ghanaian football player.

McCarthy played as a teenager for the Gonden Boys, before joining Feyenoord Academy in 2005. In 2008 he moved to the top club Hearts of Oak SC and on 20 September 2011, he signed with Globacom Premier League aufsteiger Wassaman United. In February 2012, he left already Wassaman United and returned to Hearts of Oak SC.

His first international Game of the Ghanaian 2005. With the national team he participated at the African Cup of Nations 2008. In addition, he was nominated for the African Cup of Nations 2010.
