Philip Anglim

Philip Anglim ( born February 11, 1953 in San Francisco, California) is an American film and theater actor.

He began his career on Broadway. He embodied the 1978 title character in " The Elephant Man ". For his performance he was awarded the Tony Award. In the remake of the feature film " The Elephant Man ", which was produced in 1982, Anglim embodied again the tragic lead role.

Since 1982 in front of the camera, Anglim is mainly through his portrayal of Vedek Bareil Antos in the science fiction series "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine " is a term, a character, the Anglim embodied in eight episodes.

Another prominent role was that of Dane O'Neill in " The Thorn Birds ".
