Philip III, Margrave of Baden-Rodemachern

Philip III. of Baden- Rodemachern ( born August 15, 1567 Rodemachern; † November 6, 1620 at the stronghold ) was Margrave of the Margraviate of Baden - Rodemachern.

Life

Philip III. was the second son of Christopher II of Baden- Rodemachern and Cecilia Vasa.

After the death of his brother Eduard Fortunat he lived at Schloss Ettlingen. 1605 recruited Philip soldiers on the Margraviate of Baden -Baden, remove the Durlacher cousin Georg Friedrich. The attempt failed and Georg Philipp Friedrich sat first in Durlach and then caught at the stronghold, where he died in 1620 without leaving any descendants.
