Philip James Bailey

Philip James Bailey ( born April 22, 1816 in Nottingham, Nottingham † September 6, 1902 ) was an English lawyer and poet.

Philip James Bailey grew up in Nottingham, where his father Thomas Bailey ( † 1856) the Nottingham Mercury edited. He studied law in Glasgow and in 1840 a ​​lawyer.
