Philip Leacock
Philip Leacock ( born October 8, 1917 in London, † July 14, 1990 ) was a British film director.
Life
Philip Leacock, older brother of director Richard Leacock, began as a documentary filmmaker, until in 1952 he realized his first feature film. From the criticism especially The Spanish Gardener was recognized, his other works not reach those achieved this success. From the 1960s Leacock worked mainly for television.
