Philip M. Parker

Philip M. Parker ( born June 20, 1960) is an American economist. He is a professor at the business school INSEAD and the University of California, San Diego.

Work

Parker earned master's degrees at the University of Aix -Marseille in finance and banking, and at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania for management. He received his Ph.D. from the Wharton School of Business Administration. Thereafter, he held the world from courses. His studies are characterized by the view that scientific knowledge should be integrated directly into micro-and macroeconomic models. Based on the basic idea that consumer behavior and consumption follow physical laws, he wrote themselves on the subject of six books, including Physio Economics: The Basis for Long -Run Economic Growth (MIT Press, 2000 ).

Parker is best known for his patent, with which it can be create by means of a computer software automatically books. Through the software, it is possible for him to produce books based on a template that contains data from publicly available sources.
