Philip Rosseter
Philip Rosseter (* 1568 in London, † May 5, 1623 ) was a British composer and lutenist.
In his youth Rosseter was one of the "Children of the Revels of the Queen" ( children of the queen union merrymaking ). In 1604 he became a member of the queen union chapel. During his lifetime he was a friend of the poet and fellow composer Thomas Campian, whose texts he wrote many " ayres " of which he published two books - one in 1601 and the other 1609.
