Philipp Langen

Philipp Langen ( born July 2, 1986 in Lahnstein ) is a former German football player.

Club career

The midfielder came up with 14 years for TuS Koblenz and made his first league games for the team at the age of 17 years. After promotion to the Regionalliga 2004 he was despite his young age immediately regulars and came to promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga on 63 missions, in which he scored five goals. In season 2006/ 07, the left-footed came to 29 missions in the 2nd Bundesliga, scoring one goal. In a training camp in September 2007, he injured his anterior cruciate ligament and the lateral ligament of the right knee. Since the 2008/ 09 season, Long played for SpVgg Greuther Fürth.
