Philipp Zeller

Philipp Zeller ( born March 23, 1983 in Munich) is a German hockey player. With the German national team, he was world champion in 2006, 2008 and 2012 Olympic gold medalist and European Champion 2011 in Gladbach.

Philipp is the older brother of Christopher Zeller, who also plays in the hockey team. Both were in the 2006/2007 season with the Dutch champions HC Bloemendaal under contract. At the beginning of the season 2007/2008 he moved with his brother Christopher and the captain Timo Wess at that second division club Rot-Weiss Cologne, with the reached the summit.

Until July 2012, Philipp Zeller came in 191 internationals for use.

Life

Zeller first attended from 1993 to 2001, the Pestalozzi -Gymnasium and following the Erasmus Grasser -Gymnasium in Munich, where he graduated from high school with specialized courses sports and English 2002. After completing his military service in a sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr he studied since 2003 Law at the University of Hamburg.
