Philippe Jaroussky

Philippe Jaroussky ( born February 13, 1978 in Maisons- Laffitte, Yvelines ) is a French countertenor.

Life

Philippe Jaroussky received at the age of eleven, his first violin lessons and began to learn piano at 15. At the Regionalkonservatorien ( CNR) of Versailles and Boulogne- Billancourt, he studied both instruments and harmony and composition. In 1996 he met his singing teacher Nicole Fallien know which recognized his outstanding vocal qualities and teaches him to this day.
