Philippe Muray

Philippe Muray (* 1945 in Angers ( Maine -et -Loire department ); † March 2, 2006 in Paris) was a French writer, satirist and cultural critic.

Life

Muray comes from a family of educated middle class. His father was a translator of American authors. After studying classical philology in Paris Muray worked as a writer. He died on 2 March 2006 from lung cancer and was buried at the Montparnasse Cemetery.
