The Mirage Treecreeper ( Rhabdornis ), also called Philippine Treecreeper, form a genus in the same family of deceit Treecreeper ( Rhabdornithidae ) within the order of perching birds ( Passeriformes ). In this 1967 by James Cowan Greenway described family there are three species that occur exclusively in the Philippines.

Males and females differ in plumage color. They are characterized by strong legs, with which they can run along the tree trunks. With her long, slightly curved beak forward they are looking for insects in the bark columns. On flowers of nectar with brush-like tongue or added they eat fruit.
