Philippine de Rothschild
Philippine de Rothschild Sereys (full name: Philippine Pascale Mathilde Camille de Rothschild Sereys ) ( born November 22, 1933, Paris) is the owner of the famous winery Château Mouton- Rothschild and shareholder of " Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA " and grande dame of viticulture.
Life
Philippine was in Paris in 1933 as the only daughter of the famous French wine patron, Baron Philippe de Rothschild ( 1902-1988 ) and his first wife Elisabeth Pelletier de Chambre ( 1902-1945 ), was born. Philippine and her mother were arrested in March 1945 by the Gestapo; the mother died in a concentration camp Ravensbrück.
In 1958 she graduated from the " Conservatoire National d'Art dramatique ", where she had been taken after the third entrance exam, from two awards.
