Phin

The Phin ( Thai: พิณ ) is a plucked string instrument from Northeast Thailand, Isaan and adjacent areas. The Phin is made ​​of wood. The sound is produced by plucking the two to four metal strings that are played with a plectrum. The plectrum is made of animal horn. The Phin is played on all ceremonial occasions.
