Description

The Phlox subulata is a herbaceous plant, forming dense cushions of standing single drives. The plant height can reach 10 to 15 centimeters. It has slender leaves. Meanwhile there are many cultivated forms, so that the flower color from white, to pink, to red or blue enough. It blooms from April to May

Occurrence

The Phlox subulata is native to the northeastern states of the USA. In Central Europe it is cultivated as a hardy perennial in gardens and parks. The Polsterphlox is undemanding and grows on sandy soils. He prefers sunny locations.
