Phoenix City Hall

The Phoenix City Hall is the city hall from Phoenix ( Arizona).

The building located in Downtown Phoenix has 20 floors and is 112 meters high, making it the ninth highest in the city. Designed in the style of postmodernism City Hall was designed by architect Langdon Wilson, who was also responsible for the establishment of the Sandra Day O'Connor United States Courthouse in Phoenix later. The Phoenix City Hall replaced after two years of construction 1994, housed in the Calvin C. Goode Municipal Building Old City Hall as the seat of city government. The cost was inclusive of the adjacent car park, the Plaza to 2nd Avenue and the renovation of the old city hall 83 million U.S. dollars.

After the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001, the north entrance of the Phoenix City Hall was closed for a certain time.
