Physikalische Blätter

The physics journal (until 2001 Physical leaves) is the membership journal and the official notification organ of the German Physical Society eV ( DPG). It is published monthly with eleven issues per year ( double issue August / September). In physics journal DPG members report on current developments and findings in all areas of research in physics and related areas of science. Be published and Others overview essays ( "Overview" ), latest reports from the physical research ( " focus" ), science and education policy news, book and software reviews, events, and a job market. With a circulation of over 50,000 copies, the Physics Journal is the largest German -language physics journal. The physics journal is published by the DPG with the publisher Wiley -VCH.

History

The physics journal was founded in 1943 under the name Physical leaves. The second year was published only in 1946 under the name " New Physical leaves ". Founder and long -time editor ( until 1972 ) was serious fractures.
