Pi is the name of a media installation in the vicinity of the Vienna Karlsplatz. "Pi" is located in the Opera Passage between the leavers to the subway and the output at the Secession building near the Naschmarkt. The art project was developed by Canadian artist Ken Lum from Vancouver.

Pi that was installed from January 2005 to November 2006 and opened on 1 December 2006, consists of statistical information and a representation of the circle number π with 478 digits. After this each of the last calculated decimal places are projected, indicating the importance of the eponymous for the media installation number and their infinity.

A variety of statistical data provides real-time - be on a length of 130 meters, in addition to the number pi on reflective display cases - a total of 16, called factoids.
