Pia Clemente

Pia Clemente (* in Manila, Philippines) is an American film producer. Produced by her short film Our Time Is Up was nominated for the 2006 Oscar. This made her the first Filipino - American who was awarded an Oscar nomination.

Life

At the age of three years, Pia Clemente emigrated with her family to the United States. She attended the Peddie School in Hightstown, New Jersey, and became, in 1989, her high school graduation. In 1990 she began studying at Barnard College, where she chose an English major and theater and creative writing as a minor. She also played tennis and was founded in 1993 by her college for the Academic All - Ivy ( Ivy League) nominated.
