João Batista Inácio, also known under the name Piá ( born March 22, 1982 in Ibitinga ) is a Brazilian footballer. His younger brother Joelson is also a football player.

Career

João Batista Inácio learned to play football in the youth of Atalanta as an attacker. In the 2001 /02 season, he completed nine games at Bergamo, where he managed a goal. In the following season he played 14 games for Atalanta, but remained without a goal. Piá was awarded for the entire 2003/ 04 in the Serie B Ascoli Calcio on. There he found his way back to his form. In 36 games he scored 13 goals for Ascoli. He returned to Bergamo, but received only ten missions in which he could not score again. In January 2005 it was purchased by the SSC Napoli, which still was playing in the C series. In Napoli succeeded Piá to play himself into the starting line-. In two and a half years, he played 62 games for Napoli, where he scored 12 results. Piá was awarded for the 2007 /08 season at the FBC Treviso in the B series. After 16 games and three goals followed by the next loan, this time to Catania Calcio in the Serie A. He remained there in eight games without a goal, however.

In summer 2008, Brazilian striker returned to Napoli. Due to the strong competition in the tower at Napoli he could not establish himself and ran into the following 18 months in just 17 ​​league games for Naples, where he scored four goals. Beginning of January 2010 Piá was awarded for the remainder of the 2009 /10 Serie B for Torino FC. The Turin also acquired an option to purchase at the attacker. However, this was not taken and the Brazilians returned after the expiry of the loan period back to Naples. In August 2010, he was sold to the second division Calcio Portogruaro Summaga.

Since the summer of 2012, he played for U.S. Lecce, which he left after one year again and AE Larisa joined.
