Pia Kjærsgaard

Pia Merete Kjærsgaard ( born February 23, 1947 in Copenhagen) is a Danish politician. She co-founded the right-wing populist Danish People's Party ( Danish People's Party, shortly DF). She distinguished herself in front of her fight against immigration and multiculturalism and initiated the parliamentary support of the minority governments of Anders Fogh Rasmussen and Lars Løkke Rasmussen 2001 to 2011. Background

Kjærsgaard is the daughter of the merchant Poul Kjærsgaard and his wife Inge Munch Jensen. Policy
