Pia Stadtbäumer
Pia Stadtbäumer ( born 1959 in Münster ) is a German sculptor and installation artist.
Life
Stadtbäumer studied from 1981 to 1988 at the Dusseldorf Art Academy. During this period she obtained in 1986 with Prof. Alfonso Hüppi their patent as a master student. From 1996 to 1997 she lectured as a visiting professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. Since 2000 she has been a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg and there also deputy chairman of the Master's Programme Committee Art. Stadtbäumer is married to the sculptor Klingelhöller and lives and works in Dusseldorf. Her works enjoy a lot of attention at numerous national and international exhibitions.
