Picsearch

Picsearch is a Swedish company that has developed an Internet search engine for images. The company offers a search in more than three billion images on the Internet. The main page for the search is Picsearch.de, in addition, the company also works with MSN, WEB.DE, Ask.com, and Lycos together. Picsearch is one of the three largest search engines for images around the world next to Google and Yahoo.

History

The company was founded in 2000 by two students at Linköping University. In the summer of 2001, the search engine was officially connected to the network. The company is based in Stockholm.
