It is located on the territory of the department of Paysandú in its sector 3 Piedras Coloradas is located east of Estación Porvenir and west of Orgoroso. In the south-west or south-easterly direction can be found with La Punta de Arroyo Negro Tentación and other settlements in the vicinity.
