Pieńkówko

Pieńkówko ( German New Pennekow also: Small Pennekow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is located in the powiat Slawienski ( Schlawe ) and is part of the rural municipality ( gmina wiejska ) Postomino ( Pustamin ).

Geographical Location

Pieńkówko is located 2.5 kilometers south of Pieńkowo ( Pennekow ) on a side road connection from Sławno ( Schlawe ) about Staniewice ( Stemnitz ) for the province road 203 Until 1945, the site of the railroad track was immediately west of No. 111p of Schlawe after Stolpmünde (now Polish: Ustka ), the nearest train station either Pustamin ( Postomino ) or Stemnitz ( Staniewice ) were, however.

History

New Pennekow, formerly called Small Pennekow was, was probably created as a colony in the 18th century. Until 1945 it was a district of the municipality in the district of Pennekow Schlawe i Pom. and belonged to the governmental district of the Prussian province of Pomerania Pomerania.

After the March 8, 1945 had occupied the location the Soviet troops, the place as quite Pomerania was placed under Polish administration. It started the immigration of Poles who came mostly from areas east of the Curzon Line. In December of the same year the expulsion of all German inhabitants took place. Under the Polish administration New Pennekow was named Pieńkówko. Today the village is a district of Gmina Postomino in powiat Slawienski in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Community is currently Head Barbara Jochemek.

Church

The inhabitants of New Pennekow belonged until 1945 largely to the Protestant church. The village was part of the parish Pennekow in the parish Pustamin and belonged to the church district Rügenwalde ( Darłowo ) of the Ecclesiastical Province of Pomerania in the Protestant Church of the Old Prussian Union. The church patronage was for the last owner of Good Seehof in Pennekow, Sibylle chess from Wittenau born from Below. Last German minister was Pastor Samuel Jobst.

Today, living in Pieńkówko evangelical church members are managed by the Parish Office in Slupsk ( Stolp ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
