Pierre Braunberger

Pierre Berger Brown ( born June 29, 1905 in Paris, † November 16, 1990 ) was a French film producer.

Life

In the early 1920s he gained film experience in Germany, in England and in the United States. Between 1926 and 1930, he founded several production companies, including Pierre Braunsberger Productions. In 1929 he founded Société du Cinéma du Panthéon. In 1945 he founded Pantheon Productions.

Braunsberger was chairman of the jury of the International Film Festival Berlin 1966.

He married the actress Gisèle Hauchecorne, with whom he has two sons.
