Pierre Gripari

Pierre Gripari ( born January 7, 1925 in Paris, † December 23, 1990 ) was a French writer, poet and narrator of Greek descent. He also wrote under the pseudonym Rose Londres.

Pierre Gripari saw himself as a storyteller who writes not for the eyes but for the ears. " Raconter of histoires, pretend -il est le plus beau métier du monde et le plaisir qu'on y est une des rares choses prend qui ne jamais trompent. " ( "Telling stories is the best job in the world, and the joy that one experiences it, is one of the rare things that never deceive! ")

His known children's stories from the Contes de la rue Broca and Les Contes de la Folie Méricourt were the animated series 1995/1996 in the French channel France 3, and from 1998 in German language in Ki.Ka in ORF 1 and SF 1 under the title The mysterious Rue Broca broadcast in a series with 26 episodes.
