Pierre Maudet

Pierre Maudet (born 6 March 1978 in Geneva ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP).

He held office from 1 June 2011 to 31 May 2012 as the Mayor of Geneva (French Maire de Genève ). On June 17, 2012, he was elected to succeed the retiring Mark Muller in the Geneva State Council ( Conseil d' Etat).

Maudet studied law at the University of Freiburg and has concluded with the master.

Pierre Maudet is married and has three children.
