Piet van Reenen

Peter van Reenen ( born January 17, 1909 in Utrecht, † June 8, 1969 in Amsterdam) was a Dutch football player.

Between 1929 and 1942 he played for the Dutch Ehrendivisionisten Ajax Amsterdam. During this time, he played 237 games for the club, where he could meet a proud 272 times. He is so, even before the legendary Johan Cruijff, the best scorer ever to play at Ajax. He was 1930-1938 in each year the best scorer of his club, which is why he got the nickname Goaltjes - Piet from the fans. 1932 get him in a game against BV Veendam seven goals, which is to date the Association's internal record of Ajax. During his time at Ajax Van Reenen could win the national championship four times.

He played two matches for the Dutch national football team, but could not convince there.
