Pieter de Grebber

Pieter de Fransz Grebber (* 1600 in Haarlem, † 1652 or 1653 Haarlem ) was a Dutch painter.

Born as the son of the painter Frans Pietersz de Grebber (1573-1643), he should take over the workshop of his father. He learned the craft of painting at Hendrick Goltzius, was also under the influence of Peter Paul Rubens. He often painted musicians in the style of Frans Hals and Utrecht Caravaggionisten.
