Pieter Dubordieu
Pieter Dubordieu (* 1609 in L' Ile- Bouchard ( Indre -et -Loire ); † after June 4, 1678 probably in Amsterdam) was a Dutch portrait painter of French descent.
Pieter Dubordieu was a little -known artist. It was in 1628 enrolled at the University of Leiden and was mainly active as a painter in Leiden. Although he earned in 1636, the Amsterdam civil rights, but it is from 1638 again in Leiden detectable. There he was a member of the Guild of St. Luke in the years 1648-1651 and 1665-1676.
