Band History

Pilot Speed ​​was founded in 1999 in Toronto, Ontario, under the name " Pilate ". Their debut EP was released in 2001. Following this, they were taken from Maple Music Recordings under contract. Her first two albums "Caught by the Window " and "Sell Control for Life 's Speed ​​" were published in the years 2003 and 2006 from Maple Music Records.

On 26 June 2006, the band announced that they would change their name to " Pilot Speed ​​" because of possible litigation with companies outside Canada. Their second album was finally released in the United States on 19 September 2006 under the name of "Into the West ". They worked together with Wind -up Records.

The first single of their second album "Into the West " is " Barely Listening ", which was also used in the video game NHL 07.

The song " Alright" is part of the soundtrack of the film Death Sentence - death sentence, which was published in 2007 and is among other things used in the final scene.

June 30, 2008 Pilot Speed ​​announced that they are working on a new album with producer Dennis Herring. This was published in April 2009 in Canada and the U.S. and was called Wooden Bones.
