Pim Doesburg

Willien Doesburg ( born October 28, 1943 in Rotterdam ) is a former Dutch football player.

Career

Doesburg began his career in his hometown of Sparta Rotterdam in Rotterdam. The first five years of his career he was in Sparta between the posts. In 1966, he could even win the Dutch Cup. A year later he moved to PSV Eindhoven. When the Boers he remained three years initially. At this time the goalkeeper was able to win any titles. In 1970 he returned to Sparta. Ten years was Doesburg goalkeeper with this club before moving back to Eindhoven PSV. In his last seven years as a goalkeeper he was in 1986 and 1987 by Dutch masters. Doesburg ended his career in the biblical footballers aged 44 years.

International Doesburg played eight times for the Dutch national team. He participated in the Soccer World Cup 1978 in part in Argentina, where he was runner-up as a substitute goalkeeper. In the European Football Championship 1980 in Italy Doesburg was once in use. The Oranje Oranje difference in the group stage as a group of third parties.

Coaching career

After his playing career Doesburg goalkeeping coach was among others at Feyenoord Rotterdam.
